Power Planner will start with the appliances and loads you actually care about, then work backward into the battery bank, solar array, inverter, wiring, winter behaviour and generator backup required.

The first-time visitor should not need to understand watt-hours, MPPT voltage or battery chemistry just to begin. Pick refrigerator, freezer, Starlink, well pump, microwave, shop tools or custom loads. The system does the engineering underneath and puts a plain-English Why? beside each recommendation.

  • Battery: capacity, chemistry and reserve.
  • Solar: energy sizing plus cold-weather string sizing.
  • Inverter: continuous load plus surge.
  • Wiring: current, voltage drop and protection planning.
  • Generator: size, two-wire autostart and recovery strategy.
  • Winter: higher cold Voc, less available sun, snow and temperature realities.
  • Location: future tomorrow-sun and expected PV-production forecast.
